Well, Celtic Nation contributing author Mark Vandeusen (@LucidSportsFan on Twitter) pondered the possibility of a Celtic letdown, and our C’s did just that, losing in Toronto on Friday night. With no Ray Allen, Boston fell into a deep hole and fought furiously to come back, falling just short. The good news – our Celtics remain 3 games up on the Sixers in the Atlantic Division, and Rajon Rondo recorded double-digit assists for the 20th consecutive game.
Seven games remain for the Celtics to protect that Atlantic Division lead, with consecutive road games this weekend against the New Jersey Nets and the Charlotte Bobcats. There will be a day off, and then a road game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. That’s four games in five days, all on the road. Brutal, but if the Celtics can come out of this with a couple of wins it may be enough cushion to finish ahead of Philly.
Just read this, thanks for the mention!
