Nenad, you had your chance.  You blew it.  You had an opening to return to the NBA and play for the most storied team in league history, and you decided to sign a contract with CSKA Moscow.  We’ll, I’ve got news for you – I was in Oklahoma City and saw you and your Thunder play CSKA Moscow in an exhibition game.  It was the preseason, and the same season that you were later dealt to Boston.  All I can say is this:  If you feel cool with playing in Russia and dunking on a bunch of stiffs, then CSKA Moscow is the team for you.  I think the Washington Generals can beat CSKA, and they’ve lost what,  26,783 consecutive games to the Harlem Globetrotters.

Seriously, CSKA Moscow?  We knew you were soft, Nenad, but not between the ears.  Yeah, you’ll make more money, but what currency are you getting paid in – is the ruble still the way to go over there?  You’ll see some interesting architecture, but you’ll also be taking a lot of cold showers and sleeping in cramped, run-down rooms.  CSKA Moscow?  Really?  Come on, you can do better than that.

Too bad you won’t get to do it in Boston.
