A few observations after re-watching the first three games:

1) With 8 new players in the fold, people need to have patience as it will take time for this team to gel.

2) Avery Bradley’s defensive presence has been missed. His on-the-ball defense makes it difficult for other teams to get into their offense. His return will also help the interior defense, which has been awful thus far.

3) We need another big man to protect the basket. KG can’t do it alone. Bass is awful defending the basket, Melo is raw and working in the D-League, Green is not a shot blocker and Darco and Wilcox have been suspect in the brief playing time they have received. Teams are going to the hoop at will and it will be a long year if we don’t get someone other than KG to protect the hoop.

We still have enough depth and talent to beat most teams, but the defense needs some fixing.
