Want to know what the face of 6-for-26 looks like?  Want to know what the face of a punk looks like?  You’re staring at it, yes indeed, and that face has a name.  It’s Carmelo Anthony, the pretend MVP who couldn’t keep his cool against a real MVP in the form of Kevin Garnett.

Yes, that’s the sound of 6-for-26, but there are other sounds, too – like the sound Anthony’s teeth make when they grind together.  And the sound that his potty-mouth makes when he spews those nasty, four-letter words and tries to act macho on the court.

Clank.

You know what?  I think our man KG got under Anthony’s skin just a little.  Rumor has it that Anthony made a beeline for the Celtics dressing room after the game to continue the festivities..

If only he’d put that much effort into his shot selection and focus.

Garnett and Anthony got tagged with double technicals after some early fourth-quarter jawing during a dead-ball situation. The two continued to bark at each other before referee Tony Brothers gave a little verbal warning to knock it off.  Later, Melo took a little post-whistle swipe at the ball in Garnett’s hands, but we all know Anthony is all bark and no bite.

Oh, and tonight he was also all clank and no swish.
