What a show! Watching PP strut was funny. He started with the ball. He put the ball in, the world is a better place. He still bitched. Great game for the stat sheet. Bench scores 61 Pts.. The bench could have beat the Pistons.

What happened? We out-rebounded a team! Had a millions assists. Moved the ball. Is that what you are supposed to do? The fans went home Happy. It was an agents dream. "My guy tore-up the Pistons.

Finley's shot looked good. BB first off the bench! Looked easy.

kWhat is our record againsth the 6 Best teams in the league? We are (3) and (12) against the CAvs -- Hawks -- Magic and Friends. OOPS!

Occasional signs of life is better than nothing. The last time we played the stones it was a narrow victory and Jonas Jerebko outplayed garnett. Today, I'm just looking for the silver lining.

The Pistons are in full tank for lotto mode.

That will be one of the worst teams in the league over the next few years.

Sad that the only time I've seen the Celtics show up lately is against a dead dog waiting to be put out of its misery.

This was a battle of two teams with a grim future, IMO.

Does it annoy you that Louisiana Fats saves his best basketball for the Pistons?

Kinda. Especially when I go read Piston message boards and people talk about acquiring Fatso because he's so good.

What are they willing to give for him? I'll take the Swede.

Chris, you want it all - and right away.... Typically people get over this state by the age of 5...

I do consider this win as a positive development: easy win against a weak team, when easy win supposed to be. Was not the case - each game was as struggle for the past few weeks. They need this type of wins to get their confidence back, especially PP after all his struggles offensively. I hope to see more of the same against NY, will be disappointing to watch a close game.

Next step - win close games against the teams we should win anyway, if they are really close to being ready to go all the way in the playoffs. We will have Hou, Dal, Utah coming up as a measuring stick.

I do not put too much into this fiasco in Cle - the way they played the game was pretty darn close to watching the team right after the training camp. Too early - they are not ready yet. ISO at the top instead of ball movement (did not see a single pos with more than 2 passes), no spacing, nobody knows where to go at the switch, losing his own player 5 feet from the basket, giving up internal after FTs.... was as ugly as it gets... Paul obviously needs his legs back - was never double-teamed, could not slash or even to go up on a pull... They still have around 15 games to get it right - now it's up to Doc to fine-tune the team. It's unfortunate when you lose 2 best players mid-season, but I'm a believer.

Den on the 24th will be the major test. Will be fun.

TIG: All the excuses for PP are just that. He has slowed down a step. On a fast player it can be covered up. On a slow player losing 1/2 a step really shows up. His moves are looking like a Sherman Tank. He is charging on almost every play. He got the calls when he could move, now he isn't getting them. His passes are a chore. His rebounding is terribole. He hasn't tryed to rebound at all. He is getting 2.4 rebounds a game in the last 10 games.

I wish he could get the step back. I just hope that Doc doesn't make the mistake of putting the ball in his hands and stopping ball movement. PP can get his shots off the movement, not the ISO stuff. He is shooting very well. Be interesting to see what he does against Caron Butler in the Dallas game.

Will be fun to watch him against his own former teammate tonight as well...

ISO is the definition of movement, btw - beating your opponent off the dribble on this level is not an easy task, obviously he has no lift on the pull-up. But more interestingly - they've done it all night long, all of them. Even Ray had his share - which I haven't seen in years. Makes no sense...

Here's a little tid-bit on PP. He ranks # 28 in Rebounds for Small Forwards. Either they are all getting better at rebounding or he is losing it!!! His Assists have gone down as well.
