Will we ever play "D"? Can't prove it in the 1st half.
Why is that Rondo gets smoked by quick PG's? His man has 17 Pts. in the half.
We are losing the battle of the boards by 8 . Get on the stick/

The C's didn't play a lick of defense until the 4th quarter. That's where the game was lost. I'm not looking forward to Sunday at all.
The C's just don't get the calls like their opponents do. It's really damn frustrating. JUST CALL IT EVEN!

In all my years of watching sports, why is it that the losing team always blames the refs?
As usual, we got outhustled and rebounded again.
We'll be extremely lucky to get out of the first round.

To listen to Tommy the Celtics got the shaft. We took 37 Foul SLhots -- Houston took 28. kThey made 25 foul shots and missed 3. We made 24 FS and missed 13. That is really the shaft! Give it a rest Tommy.
We lost the rebound battle. They killed us on the "O" boards. They got 15 "O" rebounds.
We got out-hustled. We got beat. Think it would help if Doc shut up for one game.

We also choked the game away on the free throw line. That Aaron Brooks trey should never have tied the game.

The refs certainly didn't cost the C's the game.
They are consistently bad though. Just let the teams play like they used to.

Does KG ever mix it up anymore?
He's rarely in the paint. He's getting pushed around by stiffs, where's his intensity?
I can understand some hesitancy in the early going, but he's consistently avoiding the paint.
The three that Budinger got as the ball trickled down the line was KG's, but he wasnt even trying for the rebounds. Doc was pissed about that play, but as much as he wants to blame everyone there's no reason anybody but KG shouldve had that ball. Perk made a clean block, everyone else should break, the ball was right there and KG went the other direction.
If he's not gonna get angry and mix it up in the paint, its going to get worse.

You're right about them bitching to the refs over everything. The problem is they're frustrated with themselves but haven't look inward to discover where the problem lies. If the refs were so bad, then why did the C's have 9 more free throw attempts? I heard Tommy lamenting about how Landry (I think it was him) put an up fake and drew the contact from TA and then leaned into him and shot it. Interesting that when an opponent does this is shouldn't be allowed, yet Pierce has made a living at the line doing this exact same thing for more than a decade.
The Celtics were getting out run and out hustled, and despite Wallace getting 11 points and 8 rebounds in 19 minutes, I am not very fond of his idea of a half court game where he never crosses mid court from the Celtics' offensive zone while his teammates are left dealing with a 4 on 5 situation down the other end. Who does he think he is? Shaq?
The team is 24 - 23 since their blazing 23 - 5 start. They look old, they move slow, and look like the team chemistry has gelled into something akin to nitroglycerin. They don't look enthusiastic, and have the look of a team that knows it can't get it done anymore on anything resembling a consistent basis. Doc is pissed at Davis and that's the only reason Sheldon has gotten off the bench lately. Sheldon was part of the equation when they were 23 -5, and Davis has been a contributor to the 24 - 23 run they are on now. This isn't implying that Sheldon is a star, but maybe that his attitude and contributions meant more than Baby's have been since his return.
If Danny doesn't make some major moves this summer, then there won't be much excitement in Bean Town next season. This run to be a contender is clearly over, and it is time to look to the future. Not even sure if I will renew my NBA Ticket, though I would be more interested in a young rebuilding club who was trying, than an over the hill bunch that don't seem to mind losing.
With 7 games left to the season, it still isn't certain that the Celtics will break 50 games, and that includes games against the Knicks and Wizards. Cleveland doesn't have to win tomorrow, but will just because they play to win the game. It is interesting that the league has never addressed these phony trades where in this instance it was the Cavs sending Z out only to have him bought out by his new team and then able to re-sign with the Cavs after 30 days. Is there anyone with a pulse that thinks this wasn't pre-arranged? If they aren't going to do anything about this stuff then why have the 30 day waiting period, does that add some sort of legitimacy to this kind of wheeling and dealing?
