Celtics vs Heat series

Seems like most Celtic fans are so depressed they think it's a foregone conclusion that the C's will lose to the Heat in round 1. I don't think that will happen. I actually think the Celtics match-up well with the Heat. Am I crazy?

I think Wade is a handful but the C's should be able to come up with a defensive plan that will keep him from winning it by himself.

I'm taking the Celtics in 5. What say you?

I think TA's health is key to this series as he's the only one with a chance of covering Wade.

C's in 6, maybe 7 if Wade's getting Finals with Dallas-esque calls.

Unless Garnett's had successful surgery by Dr. Rudy Wells, the Celtics probably aren't getting out of round one.

Don't you guys think Thibodeau can come up with a plan to stop Wade? The C's beat them every game during the season didn't they? I dunno, I think championship pride will count for something in this series. I really think sweep but left myself some wiggle room by saying 5 games just in case. The Heat are not that good.

If the C's mail it in they will obviously lose but they won't mail in a playoff series the way they have been during the end of the season will they?

If they do I'm blaming Doc. If he sits there with a sad puppy dog look on his face and watches these guys go through the motions and get their asses kicked he better leave. He will need a fresh start and the team will need a fresh voice.

Chemistry or the lack of it will determine the series. We have the KG -- Ray -- PP -- Finley click. The Rondo -- Perk click. The Sheed -- Daniels -- Robinson click. And the rest of the team running around trying to join somebody.

Certainly not the Chemistry that we had in Winning # 17. Far from it.

Let's see WHY Rasheed was given $20 million dollars? WHY Daniels got his money? WHY Robinson can't play a lick of "D".

Seems to me the problem is the builder of the Roster. Danny Ainge.

I'm not worried about the Heat at all. I agree and think the C's have the matchups here. Wade will get his but outside of him the Heat have no other consistent scoring threat. I expect Perk and the rest of the frontcourt to have a good series. I say C's in 5 but of course this one could go 7. Either way Boston is facing the Cavs in round 2.

I agree with Celts in 5. I think this is a favorable matchup for Boston. Miami can't run us off the floor because they aren't young and athletic. Plus they don't have any bigs that require extra defensive attention.

Don't you guys remember last week when Celt's Owner Wick was on the camera for a period of the game? He was asked: "What team don't you wnat to face in the 1st round"? He answered very quickly. "I don't want to play Miami". He said that South Beach, and the night-life were a big prpblem.

Well the C's were going to face either the Bucks or Heat in the first round. The Bucks are obviously the preferred choice without their best player.

It doesn't mean he expected the C's to lose the series though.

Man, it seems like forever since the last Celtics game. I can't wait to get the playoffs started.

My prediction is that the post-season Celtics will look much better than the regular season Celtics.
