This for the most part is the new game thread look. I eventually want to get around to having photos of the Celtics themselves, but I think I'll wait until we get the regular starting lineup back.

Sheed is questionable for this game.

Nice upgrade IL, I mean Uconn! Seems like everything is on the up and up! Now if only the injury bug will leave us and Ray Ray will stop turning the ball over every time he puts it on the floor and a shot when it counts now and then would be nice. I'd hate to see the guy get traded, but if he's got value, he sure as hell ain't doin' sh!t now. Can we get Kevin Martin in green?

Off topic but the basketball team(Uconn that is) is really struggling. They have the individual talent but they just aren't playing like a team. Lost again today

Yeah, without KG and 'Sheed they play some lousy ball, simply because most of the plays they run are built around pop up at the elbow or 3pt line.. You need to change the play book - obviously not something you can do easily. 'Sheed will be back next week, KG - week after. We'll be fine...

Yeah, they just can't hit an outside shot. The free throws have killed them too. Everybody acted like Majok was going to solve all of our problems, but he hasn't contributed that much. I can't imagine we'll be in the top 25 for much longer unless we could upset Texas.

This team is so old that they can only play a decent game for a half even after a 3 day rest.

Stagnant on offense effortless/clueless on defense.

The Celts need to get it together and quick. This is getting pathetic. :mad:

This team has no fire whatsoever. I hope they don't think they can just turn the light on once the playoffs start. It's not that easy because the gap has closed.

1. Doc plays the starters heavy minutes
2. Starters say it's actually good that I am 30-something and playing 40 minutes
3. Team is slow, sloppy, and/or sluggish

Meanwhile, the bench doesn't improve or gain confidence with more playing time. Playoff fatigue becomes an issue for everyone not named Doc Rivers. Fans still wait and hope for a healthy KG who can play at least as well as 2 years ago. And Daniels has been out so long I forgot how to spell his first name--Markeez????
