Just thought I'd mention how much Q-Rich's classless and unsportsmanlike behavior makes my blood boil. As a fan of the Celtics, my dander is now up against the Miami Heat.

I feel like this post is needed to juxtapose all the opinions of other Celtic fans as to how much they can't stand our own guys.

I absolutely support Garnett's actions in sticking up for his injured captain. The elbow shouldn't have been thrown and Kevin admitted as much. He was, however, surrounded by Heat players who were holding, pulling, and tugging at him, so he threw an elbow to get the heck out of that mess. Unfortunately, it landed on Q-Rich's cheek, and KG is sitting out a game.

As to Paul Pierce, he lay down on the floor because his shoulder hurt. End of story. This guy has given us his heart and soul for 10+ years, and has worked his way into legendary Celtic status right up there with the Birds, the Russells, and the Havliceks, yet people are taking Quentin Friggin' Richardson's side. What?!!!

Hate to disappoint you. Paul Pierce is and has been a "Drama Queen" for years. Might I suggest that you read some Celtic History. Check the Play-off when Hondo played with one arm. When McHale played with a broken foot. When Bird played with a ruptured disk. (He had the back fused after he retired). Russell played hurt for years.

Before you start with the legendary status, you might want to check the awards of Bird, Russell, Havlicek. Especially the Championships, All-Pro, All-Defensive 1st teams.

Paul Pierce may end up the highest scorer in Celtic History. Good for him. I hope he is successful.

He never will end up with the legendary status of those guys. There wasn't a "Drama Queen" in the bunch.

You also might want to check the trash crap that KG, PP, and other Celtics throw at our opponents, or the Refs. Then call down Richarson.

That he's had teeth knocked out of his mouth, iced down and gone back out onto the floor. That he tore his meniscus in the NBA finals, slapped a knee brace on and went back out onto the floor. I don't expect fans from other cities to appreciate it because they learned to loathe the Celtics and cheer their misfortune from their parents. I do expect better from Boston fans, though.

The cruel, ironic twist is that in this case Quentin Richardson is the acting commisioner.

Have you evereen any Celtic" fake" serious injury every time he was bumped? Any in a wheel chair? How about anguish and pain on every drive to the basket. Facial contortions every time he jumps into another player.

PP is a "Faker" and "Actor" just as bad as a "Flopper". You know making believe to fool the Ref into making a bad call.

What would you call a player on another team who did all this stuff? You would call him a "Drama Queen" -- Actor -- Faker. And you would be Right!

Give PP all the credit for his basketball skills. He earned them.

I have seen them all since 1949, and Paul Pierce is the biggest actor I have ever seen wearing a Celtic uniform FACT!

He tore his meniscus in the finals, Eddie Lacerte took him off the floor in the wheelchair, that wasn't Pierce's call. But, given that it was his first finals appearance, he decided that he was going to keep playing.

Every single slasher hits the floor after every single drive, it's been that way for nearly 20 years. Players do it because free throws and fouls are a real advantage. Hell, it goes back even further, World B. Free was still named Lloyd when he started kicking people every time he launched a shot in order to get fouls. Andrew Toney, Hersey Hawkins, Reggie Miller, the list of guys that did it goes on and on.

Just want to add my 2-cents here - I do not agree that PP is a drama queen. I think he is pretty well-behaved and doesn't grimace, complain, and "act" nearly as much as others in the league.

Strange isn't it? Celtic fans hated every tough guy in the league. They were "Dirty", and should be banned. Oakley -- Rodman -- Laimbeer -- Mahorn -- Artest , others. Celtics never had anyone like that. Ever hear of Bob Brannum -- or # 1 pick -- Jim Loscutoff -- (Look up in the rafters) -- Celtic Enforcers -- to protect Cousy?

BAd Guys are BAD, when they play for our opponents. They are Great Celtics -- if they play for us.

The league sees PP as a "Drama Queen" -- Celtic Fans see him as a poor picked on Hero.

Now, if he played for someone else? He would be a "Drama Queen", and a "Faker"!

We glorify KG for bringing an intensity to the team and then knock him for going after a player who has had consistent problems with Pierce. Frankly this was exactly what I wanted to see from KG. Pissed off, ready to go to battle with guns blazing.

Before you knew it, it just all broke out. I have to use my head. The only thing I saw was Paul was hurt, and that was the only thing I cared about at the time. I don’t remember air-boarding anybody. I just remember people grabbing me.”

”I am just smarter than that,” Garnett said. ”Composure is everything in these playoffs, that’s all.”

Maybe you dont remember Richardson going at Paul when he was in NYC?

Did you know that PP hosted Richardson on a visit to Kansas. That's when PP was the Big Man on Campus, and Richardson was a recuit. They had problems back then.

I remember when both PP & Richardson were tossed in New York. They were both talking trash. Richardson even wanted PP, when they wre walking down the tunnels.

Poor PP, someone is always picking on the " innocent" Celtics.

What's the debate? Richardson is a punk. You go into someone's house and talk smack about them...THEN U BETTER get ready to get slap like a smack talking punk. The C's came back and showed the Heats who's boss. ONce all this is over and the C's are in the second round then Richardson can sit at home in front of his tv and call PP a drama queen actress all he wants. While Pierce and the C's make another run for the Championship. Don't start something if u don't intend to C it to the end.
