My gut told me sweep before the series started but I predicted 5 games because of how they have had trouble in the first round the past 2 years and this team is somewhere between what those teams were.
Honestly I think the Heat's spirit has been broken and they are ready to call it a year. I think there's a good shot it's done on Sunday but Wade might have 1 "win it by myself" type game left in him. If he does take over and exert the energy it will take to single handedly beat the C's, then he will be done for the series and out of gas. Then Boston will put it away in game 5 back at home.
This is a good start for us Celtic fans. I think they have proved they were able to put the car in the right gear once the playoffs rolled around. I was secretly hoping they were all just bored with the regular season. When they started hot, I think they said "Ok, we're good" and then just mailed it in the rest of the regular season, working on getting people as healthy and tuned up as possible for the post season and they didn't worry about winning the games.
That being said I have no idea what the Cleveland series would be like. The Cavs are the scariest team I've seen in a long time because LeBron is so dominant and they have so many complimentary piece around him that they can destroy anybody on any given night. The thing is, he doesn't have a side-kick or anyone that is even within 1 or 2 levels of where he's at. The Lakers have been a 1 man show too but their role players are definitely better than what LeBron has.
The C's could surprise the Cavs and beat them because they are good enough to play defense and tough against LeBron but honestly if LeBron wants to beat the Celtics I don't think there's much of anything the Celtics could do about it. The C's need to play good and hope the Cavs don't, in order to get by them. I could see the series being a sweep by either team or a 7 game slug fest and anything in between.

Good post OB. When we win this one, extra rest will sure help. Don't want it to be like last year, when we had to go 7 games to get to Orlando.
We could give the Cavs a run. Or a walk. If we stay in one piece, and shut the heck up, and play basketball.
