There have been alot of excuses swirling about as to why King James and his mighty Cavaliers couldn't get by the Boston Celtics and failed once again to reach the NBA Finals, despite being the best regular season team in basketball for the second year in a row.
So, before we begin our series with the Magic, I thought I'd throw out some of the excuses for the Boston Celtics, for which there are many.
Our best player is a locker room cancer who can't shoot the ball to save his life. Also, he keeps trying to injure and end the career of our second best player.
Our second best player has a really gimpy knee. Even though, it seems to be improving, Celtic nation collectively lets out a huge gasp every time we've seen him try to run too fast or jump too high for the last year and a half.
Our third best player has knee problems, as well. Luckily, however, we rarely have to worry about him running too fast or jumping too high these days. He, also, has some kind of a shoulder problem. Like Lebron James' elbow it doesn't affect his play at all, he just doesn't like to get hit on it. He even tried to make a really big deal out of it early in the playoffs, but nobody paid any attention.
Our fourth best player was completely washed up until he found out he wasn't getting traded to Washington, Sacramento, or Golden State.
Our fifth best player, well, I don't even want to get into, nor do I actually think I'm fully aware of, all the things that are wrong with him physically.
Our sixth best player has been thought to be developmentally delayed for quite some time.
Our seventh best player has actually been retired since winning a title some time in the mid aughts. He's only been suiting up to collect his pension since then.
Our eighth best player is just a stupid, fat slob.
Guys nine through twelve don't even get off the bench!! God, Doc is such an idiot!!
I hope we can be competitive against Superman and the Magic.
