]"When you have two good defensive teams, you’re not going to win off the dribble,’’ said coach Doc Rivers. “You’re not going to win dancing the ball. The trust in the pass will be the key to this series for us and probably for them as well. You’re going to win with ball movement.’’[/B]
This was part of an article from today's Boston Globe.
Paul has had a serious problem dribbling himself into trouble. TEAMS are baiting him, and he is falling for it.
He had 5 T/O's in the game. He had the same problem against the Cavs. When the ball hits PP it STOPS! HE DRIBBLES IT FOR NO REASON.
Doc says move the BALL, and he doesn't seem to hear Doc. Yesterday, he managed to escape a couple of times, so they didn't end up as T/O's. They were still bad plays. Look at the contortions he has to make to get a pass off when he dribbles into trouble. He looks like a Middle School kid playing at recess.
Come on Paul, move the ball. You get easy shots, and so does everyone else.
