Let's go BeanTown. The beatdown resumes tonight! The officiating shoud be less invasive on the game action but I think we still have too much for you. The bench for each team team will the difference in game 2. I live in L.A. so I'm no bandwagon fan. I grew up during the Magic and Bird era so I'm very excited to see US vs. them again.

Ray Allen is on fire!!!
As long as he keeps that accuracy and Kobe Bryant doesn't take any more shoots (he has scored 2 points) we have a good chance, even if we don't control the paint.

Halftime
KG looks like total crap. He is crumbling under pressure. Sheed is head and shoulders a better player than KG right now.
Sad way to end the first half. Guess we know why Sheldon doesn't see much court time. He nearly single handedly gave away a nice lead.
I'm still hopeful but I don't think the C's have what it takes to win the title this year. KG can't choke this bad if they want to compete.

Gee; Ray can shoot the ball! Perk can't even get off a shot. He is a disaster. Watch Bynum leave him on every play to block the middle. Rondo is playing well but shooting badly. KG is playing DUMB basketball. So is Glen kDavis. PP has 6 Foul shots.
Wallace played well. kWilliams is a mistake. kTony6 did nothing.
Without Ray we are Dog Meat. Come alive guys.

RAy and Rondo were the show. Ray broke the "3" final's record with 8. Rondo had a triple/doulble. PP and KG had off nights. Perk helped in the 2nd half. Wallace did good. Robinson gave us a lift. BB hustled off the boards. 5 "O" rebounds. He doesn't quit, even when he can't hit.
We stole this one. Now, we need a whole TEAM effort to win at home.
Rondo almost croaked playing every minute of the 1st 3 periods. Good team "D" in the 1st half. Ray did a good job on Kobie.

I think we have a leader in Finals MVP after tonight. It's your turn Rondo.

if we can go back to LA up 3-2 then I think we got this. Who knows, this may end in Boston.Pierce and KG is bound to have a good game, not to mention, BBD, Wallace, Nasty Nate. I like this variety in the lineup, it creates a spark. go c's

I for one feel pretty good that given PP & KG had off nights we were still able to pull off a win in L.A.! When and if the C's get their flow back the Lakers could have major issues........

C's defense was much better tonight. Boy, did Allen look good. He still has it. Rondo finally got into his groove. The Lakers have some serious issues. The only upside is that Boston has struggled at home in the playoffs. However, they still have the advantage. I'm afraid the series could end in Boston.

If Kobe does not keep a good show,I'm quite sure the series will end in Boston.

We can be pretty pleased that we got this T party sheed. With the way KG did the last 2 games, we could've been done.
KG tonight was at an all time low. Up until the 4th, where he finally made himself marginally useful by dishing some assists, I honestly think he played worse than Shelden Williams. And, yes I realize Williams gave up 5 straight points just before halftime. Hopefully KG gets his head right after this debacle, because gasol and bynum are killing us start to finish on both sides.

Kobe didn't do well because your defense was swarming him. When he got his spots, he hit, but for the most part, they frustrated him. You noticed that most of his fouls came on the offensive end. He got frustrated and tried to drive when there was no lane and got called for fouls.
Good job C's.

I'm astounded! When Ray Allen hit 7 3-pointers in the first half and we were only up by 6 at half-time, I figured we were toast for sure. But we won, even though it is hard to come up with anyone who played really well, except Ray and Rondo. I guess it must be team effort and good defense. Hell of a way to win, however.
I expect Pierce to improve, since he has been playing well lately except the last game. I'm convinced now that Garnett was injured again during the Orlando series, and they just don't want to tell us. Imagine actually thinking they should be playing Sheed instead of Garnett. I hate to admit it, but such thoughts have crossed my mind.
I'm glad to see Nate playing, and actually contributing. Just giving Rondo a rest and not giving up too much is a big plus (for a little guy!)

I rescind any good things I had ever said about Shelden Williams after the pass to Tony on the Break over 3 WIDE OPEN players.

I don't see anything wrong with KG physically. He's looked out of rhythm and lost in these first two games in LA, but I believe he'll bounce back and play better in Boston. I'm not saying that I think he'll put up bigger numbers than Gasol. It's tough to admit, but Pau is probably a better player at this point. Luckily, he won't need to outplay him individually. He just has to stop getting out of position and getting stupid fouls, grab rebounds, and generally be more dialled in.
