Billy Walker and JR Giddens?

Can someone please help me out with Billy and JR's contract situations?

HoopsHype's salary page has both guys listed as having team options on them for the next two seasons. I don't know if those options have been picked up or not. Will they be free agents this off-season, or are they signed with the Boston Celtics through the next two seasons?

If the option seasons are still listed it means that Boston either has until 8/1 to exercise the option or that (maybe) it's already been picked up (in Giddens' case). I'm guessing though that Boston would have waited until summer to address the situation so that Giddens & Walker would be virtual expiring contracts for trade purposes.

The option on Walker calls for him to make a little under $1.8 mil. over the next two years. I would say, if they haven't done it already, pick it up.

I really like his talent. I know we've been burned before by athletic, young wing men, and it's certainly become taboo as a Celtic fan to talk about potential, but I'm jumping in with both feet and saying "hold on to Billy Walker."
