There was a rumor about Memphis-Utah talks. He's a guy I'd like to see starting at guard. He doesn't have 3pt range, but he is a solid player in all areas. Utah would love to get rid of AK47's contract which would be enough to match for ray. AK47 would be a great option against lebron and roid-shard and a few other tough matchups.

The problem is that we would have 4 players raking in about $70 mil or something huge like that next season. Go for it all now and buy AK47 out in the summer and re-sign brewer... maybe start rebuilding if we are still waiting for KG's knees.

Well, if Utah is willing to pitch in New York's #1 pick, Boston could get them under the luxury tax line. Ray, Giddens, expirings and cash for AK-47, Booze, Korver, & Brewer. That's worth nearly $20 million for Utah. They could always throw in a first for Utah (while turning around and sending Boozer to Miami for Haslem, Wright, filler and Miami's #1).
