Indy is shopping him even in the Eastern Conf. Murphy and Dahntay Jones for Ray... add some filler. We run the SG and wing by committee: Daniels, Dantay, and TA. Plus we have an option as KG plays fewer and fewer minutes and games for the next 2.5 seasons.
We cannot survive Ray's annual postseason slump and the huge minutes Doc is destined to play him. Standing still is not an option. This is one of may trades that does not hurt us this year and helps in the future.
