BOS: Acquire a SG who can spread the floor, is excellent in catch-and-shoot situations, handle the ball a bit, rebound some and is a moderate possession player. Get two centers, with good size--one offense-minded and one defense-minded. Both are good offensive rebounders. Get an instant offense sixth man type who can float between both forward spots. Get two young wing prospects, both profile as good defenders and each have the ability to get out on the break and convert on catch-and-shoot opportunities. Total decrease in 2011 salary: ~$7M (before any resignings, which could most likely be done on the relative cheap.)
POR: Acquire a post defender to pair with Aldridge for this year. Acquire a very cheap wing prospect.
