Just to make it clear how it will all work - had to do quite a bit of research on it:

Yahoo doesnt have a keeper league. We'll have to do the following to have our Yahoo league change into a keeper:

1.) Commish to make sure that you saved all the roster of every team in your league to your file.

2.) Decide how many player(s) do you intend to keep in each team - I suggest 3.

3.) Make sure that you will conduct a LIVE draft next season. because there will be a lot of complications that will happened if you conduct a draft other than a LIVE one. And you must based your draft order on this season's final standing (obviously not this year).

4.) During the LIVE draft, make sure that the first few rounds of the draft will concentrate solely on picking team keepers. lets say for example, If the league decides to have three keepers for every team. then the first three rounds of the draft, each team will only pick their respective keeper. And only at the start of the fourth round of the draft that you will able to pick other players that are not in the keepers list.

5). It is here where HONESTY is very important in the success of your league's draft because if somebody will screw things up, then there will be a big problem.

6). It's also where is very important to participate in live draft - but you can also make sure that your autodraft has your keepers in the right order of pics.

Bottom line - it becomes pretty complicated, and requires team work to keep the league in the right order. Obviously, this year will not be as hectic - but the next season will be for sure.

Commish.

I'd vote for two keepers and why would we designate our keepers now instead of before next season?

I vote for 2 or 3. Doesn't matter to me.
Also i agree with the above post that we should pick our keepers at the end of the season. Or does that defeat the purpose? I don't think so. Either way, we're not playing for real money, so I won't protest either way.

I'd go with two keepers. And select them after the season.

Sorry, I haven;t been the best about being active in replying to messages. I started coaching a high school team and it is taking a ton of time. I love it though. It will not keep me from setting my line ups and communicating on trades and what not.
