    Celtic-Nation Invitational - week 15

Sorry for delay due to the travel overhead, will not be able to post for the same reason next week as well. Would be great if anyone can back me up.

    Anyway, weekly results:

    TIG 6
    Team Scottie 2

    Raef Lafranchise 3
    OB- wan 5

    Lynn Sinners (SDH) 5
    Autodraft is bad 3

    dnnyboy's boys 3
    Y26 5

    amaningreen 6
    Air Africa 2

    Missing35 4
    British Celtics 4

    =====================================

Easy win for me over Scottie: not having CP3 and MoWill obviously had something to do with it, but I had my share of troubles as well (no 4 games of Melo, Bogut leaving the game, etc.) which makes it all pretty much even.

    Noticeable wins:

    - Amani plowing it away with 3 wins in a row, and making strong case for getting into the playoffs. Missing is only 9 games out, but he'll face Scottie, SDH, and the same Amani over the next 3 weeks.

    - Danny losing to Y26 for the #3 spot in Atlantic obviously harmed his chances for making it to the playoffs, pushed him 10.5 wins behind. With Danny having much tougher stretch (SDH, Amani, British, AirA, TIG) it's pretty much safe bet to say that TIG, SDH, Y26 practically clinched it.

    - Same applies to Pacific with Scottie, OB, Amani

Which potentially creates pretty interesting layout for the playoffs:

    - TIG has losing record against SDH and Amani
    - SDH has "tie" with Amani, Scottie, lost to OB
    - Y26: losses to SDH, TIG, Scottie - but did well against OB, Amani
    - Scottie: losses to TIG, OB - winning record with all the rest.
    - OB: had only 3 losses for the season (behind only TIG with 2), but went down in flames playing against TIG and Amani.
    - Amani: wins against TIG, OB. Bad losses to Scottie

Will be interesting to see how it will all play out...

    Great insight TIG!
One comment: It's hard to say the current top 6 have clinched it already. This week should be very interesting in my matchup with y26, who's currently sitting on #6 with a precarious .500 record. Nothing is set in stone, well maybe except your #1 seed. I'm at #5 and surely I don't want to jinx myself. There may be switching of positions in the coming weeks, I'll at least try to get a better seed.

I may have just been lucky this year, but it seems like 80% of doing well hinges on how well you pay attention to the FA market. Out of my 11 draftees, only 4 remain: Bosh, Gasol, West, and Gordon. Ariza got flipped for Kaman. I was forced to drop Arenas and Redd (imagine if Arenas could still play!) All my other guys I picked off FA: A. Brooks, Landry, W. Chandler, and recently AK47. Very lucky year indeed. Should be a fun playoffs.

I believe you did really well on the FA market, I for one really missed out on AK47 - did not even notice he was available...

Interesting week: very short one, so basically any big night for any player on the roster counts. I guess we'll see significant activity on the FA list just to squeeze a few points out... Lucky me - I have both Melo and LB playing on Thursday, should be in a good shape prior the All-Star...
