Led Penn to three consecutive Ivy League championships and three consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament (1973-75). For the 1974-75 season, Bigelow led Penn in field-goal percentage and earned first-team, All Big-5 honors as well as the award for Most Improved Player. Signed as a free agent by the Boston Celtics on February 24, 1978. Released on March 6, 1978. Re-signed on September 15, 1978. Waived on October 3, 1978.
