All-American honoree while at the University of Cincinnati (1970). Sixth overall selection by the Seattle Supersonics (1970). Also selected by the New Jersey Nets of the ABA. Played four injury-plagued seasons in the ABA before signing a free-agent contract with the Boston Celtics on October 3, 1974. Won NBA championship with the Boston Celtics (1976). Waived on November 8, 1977.
